Volunteers Under 18

According to New Hampshire state law, volunteering counts as employment for minors.

Due to this, we have made the difficult decision not to accept volunteers on a regular basis who are under the age of 18. If you are seeking volunteer hours for community service, we are able to arrange this with the cooperation of your school or the organization requiring service hours.

Ad-hoc volunteer oportunities are still open to teens as they are legally considered Casual Work. Ad-hoc opportunities are listed below.

Event Assistance

Youth Services at Pease Public Library hosts large and/or set up and break down intensive events on a semi-regular basis. Please check this space for upcoming events we would love to have help with!

Touch-A-Truck

You may have attended Touch-A-Truck as a kid. You may not. But not matter what there's plenty that goes on behind the scenes! We need volunteers for set-up, break down, parking direction, and counting the number of attendees! Contact Nicole if you are 14+ and interested in volunteering on June 15th between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
