MaryAnn McGarry, Professor of Environmental Science and Policy Emerita at Plymouth State University, will give a presentation about resilience and recovery from two accidents, to walk the Portuguese Camino, climb Kilimanjaro, raft the Tatshenshini, and trek over the Scottish Highlands. All in the span of two years after turning 65. She will share insights about what she learned about herself in the process of training, healing and aging as well highlights of the trips.
